Education: Newton graduated from Samford University in 2004 with a bachelor’s in history.

Job Responsibilities: Newton is in charge of building relationships with high school coaches through clinics, visits and other forms of communication. He is also the contact for all professional teams.

Past Experience: Newton spent the previous 14 years at Samford as the defensive line and linebackers coach. During his time at Samford, Newton was also the Director of Recruiting, Camp Coordinator and Pro Liaison.
