Education: Tatum graduated from West Liberty University with a degree in exercise in physiology and a master's degree in exercise physiology from Western Kentucky University.

Job Responsibilities: Tatum serves as an athletic performance coach for Auburn football.

Past Experience: Tatum's path has evolved from a former collegiate football athlete for West Liberty University where he contributed to a 2000 WVIAC Conference Championship and earned a 2002 All-WVIAC selection at defensive back, while representing the Hilltoppers as a 2-year team captain. Following an Internship at the University of Notre Dame, he returned to his alma mater serving as the strength & conditioning coach overseeing football and track & field. In 2006, he served as a graduate assistant for Western Kentucky University working with football and men's & women's Soccer. During 2008 upon earning his master's degree in exercise physiology he accepted a position with Western Carolina University assisting with the athletic development of football and overseeing the track & field, women's basketball, women's soccer, softball, volleyball, women's tennis, and cheerleading strength & conditioning programs. 2011 placed him in Raleigh working as NC State's wrestling, women's basketball, men's & women's golf, and rifle strength & conditioning coach.

Personal: Tatum is a blessed father of four: Jaxson, Jett, Hensley, and Jude. He is married to the former Alison Poe of Barboursville, W.Va.
