Job Responsibilities: Oversee the Football Player Personnel & Recruiting Department. Oversee all recruiting evaluations and the recruiting pipeline. Assist with overseeing and managing the recruiting department & its operations.
Past Experience:
University of North Carolina: May 2021 – January 2022, Assistant Director of Player Personnel. Oversaw the evaluation and recruiting process for the Offensive side of the ball, and assisted with managing all of the recruiting operations both on and off campus; as well as coordinating all Recruiting Communications. Helped UNC secure their highest ranked recruiting class in program history with a ranking of #9 in the country.
University of Minnesota: May 2019 - May 2021, Director of Recruiting Communications. Coordinated all recruiting communications, on-campus recruiting plans, and the evaluation process for both the Offense & Defense. Part of a staff that rolled out and presented the first Virtual Recruiting Process, during Covid. Worked directly with Athletics Compliance for football. In 2019, Minnesota won the most games in a single season since 1904 and claimed the Outback Bowl. Ruzic played an integral part in the recruiting classes at Minnesota, helping to secure their highest-ranked classes, both years.
Ole Miss: March 2018 - May 2019, Head Recruiting Specialist. Oversaw 10 recruiting specialists that managed recruiting film and breakdowns for the evaluation process. Assisted with all on and off campus recruiting. Helped sign a Top 25 class. He assisted with all oversight and day-to-day operations in the recruiting and evaluation process.
UT Chattanooga: July 2017 - March 2018, Assistant Director of Recruiting/Defensive Analyst/Video Coordinator. He helped assist with a Top 10 defense and signed the No. 3-ranked class in FCS, the highest ranked class in program history. Oversaw all official and unofficial visits and assisted with coaches recruiting travel, while assisting with day-to-day operations for the defense and video. Helped UT-Chattanooga secure the #1 Ranked class in the FCS.
Valdosta State University: January 2010 - December 2013, Defensive Student Assistant. Assisted with on field staff duties, crowned 2012 D2 National Champions.
Personal: Born & raised in Warner Robins, GA. Father was a high school coach in Warner Robins, Georgia for over 20 years. Mother is a real estate broker in the Middle GA area.
