The newest addition to the coaching staff is former Auburn player Amy Dalsing. Dalsing played second base for the Tigers from 1997-99.

She is the only player in school history to start every game she ever played (173) and is the all-time leader for games started and second all-time in games played. Dalsing also ranks second in all-time career walks (32) and third all-time in career at bats (454) and hits (114).

The Kansas City, Kan., native will remain in the Auburn softball history books forever as she is the one who recorded the first hit, stolen base, run scored and double in Auburn history.

Dalsing graduated in 1999 with a bachelor of arts in communications and a minor in sports administration. The SEC Academic Honor Roll selection will complete her master degree in communications in spring of 2001.

Dalsing's responsibilities include working with the infielders and hitting in additional to day-to-day operations.
