After suffering a season-ending injury during fall practice, Tannon Snow retired from competition and will serve as a student assistant coach for the Tigers during the 2021 season.
Snow appeared in 142 games as a Tiger, earning 131 starts in the Auburn infield. She held a .279 batting average over her career with help of 102 hits. She recorded her 100th hit in an Auburn uniform on March 2, 2020 with an RBI single against Binghamton. A career .369 slugger, Snow knocked 18 doubles, three triples and 23 home runs to drive in 91 career runs. She crossed home plate 58 times. Snow ends her Auburn career ranked tied for second in program history with nine sacrifice flies.
During the shortened 2020 season, she recorded five hits, including a double, one RBI and two walks over the NFCA Leadoff Classic (Feb. 7-9) to be named to the All-Tournament Team. Snow turned in a career performance at Tennessee on April 6, 2019, going 4-for-4 with two home runs, a triple, seven RBI and three runs scored en route to being named SEC Player of the Week. She became the first player since Kasey Cooper in 2016 to have seven RBI in a game.
Snow began her collegiate career at Washington in 20016. She appeared in 50 games for the Huskies. She laced 28 hits, including five doubles and six homers to go along with 24 RBI. She capped the year with a .418 slugging percentage and a .365 on-base clip.
She was the named the 2015 MaxPreps National Softball Player of the Year after a standout prep career at Chino Hills High School. Snow set the single-season state record with 28 home runs and 89 RBI during senior campaign. She also set state record with 60 homers and 212 RBI during career.
Her older sister, Talee Snow, played collegiate softball at UCLA. Her younger sister, Taylon Snow, currently competes at Oklahoma.
Snow earned her undergraduate degree from the College of Human Sciences on Dec. 14, 2020.
