AUBURN, Ala. – The 2025 dual meet season for Auburn Swimming and Diving begins on Tuesday, January 7 as the Tigers make the short trip to Atlanta to face both Georgia Tech and Carson-Newman in a double dual.

Action begins at 11 a.m. CT inside the historic McCauley Aquatic Center. The meet will be streamed live on the ACC Network Plus.

Head coach Wochomurka leads the men’s and women’s teams that each feature inside the top 20 in the latest CSCAA Coaches poll. The men enter Tuesday at No. 14 while the women sit at No. 19.

The Orange and Blue have been stout in duals throughout the early parts of the 2024-25 campaign. The women carry an undefeated record (2-0) into the meet with wins against UNC-Wilmington and North Carolina while the men are an even 1-1.

After an exhilarating midseason invite in November, the Tigers own four individual times inside the top 20 in the country. Georgia native Nate Stoffle enters the week eighth in the nation in both the 100 and 200 backstroke. His 1:39.36 in the 200 back was the second-fastest time of his career.

Meanwhile, Mason Mathias owns the 11th-fastest time in the 500 free and Anastasia Makarova holds down the No. 18 spot in the 100 breast.

The 2024-25 season has also featured some stellar performances from Auburn freshmen. Lora Komoroczy jumped into the top 10 all-time in the Orange and Blue with a 51.83 in the 100 back. Julia Strojnowska and Audrey Crawford equaled Komoroczy’s effort in the 1000 free and 200 breast, respectively.

John Fox’s diving group has also been impressive this season. Rounding out the calendar year at the AU Diving Invite, Fox’s crew have all reached Zones marks. It was Olympian Emily Hallifax who stole the show, though, nearly taking down Vennie Dantin’s 2012 record on platform to earn a victory with a monstrous 318.30.

Auburn will return to the Plains on Saturday, January 11 when the Tigers host SEC foe South Carolina for the first home dual of the season.
